I recently found this graph on unicycle4kids.org and in my opinion is one of the best guides for helping set up a online marketing strategy.    It covers all the basic points that you need to know if you are new to the online marketing game.

People are usually more afraid of learning these things that they should be.  Don’t hire someone without really getting to the bottom of this and understanding it yourself.   Most of these things are quite simple and easy to learn.
